Adults Ceramics Classes

The adults ceramics class is for everyone that always wanted to practice ceramics, but did not have the chance.
No previous experience is required - and you will be amazed from what you can achieve!

Continuing the previous years success, the first adults ceramics class will start on September 2nd, 2008.

When

• Evening class 1 : Tuesdays at 7:30pm - 10:30pm, Starting at September 2nd 2008
• Evening class 2 : Wednesdays at 7:30pm - 10:30pm, Starting at September 3rd 2008
• Morning class : Fridays at 10:30am - 1:30pm, Starting at September 5th 2008

Price

• The class fee is $27 per meeting, which is usually $108 per month (4 meetings)
• Payment is in advance per a monthly session, which is 4-5 meetings.
• This fee does not include the clay, which needs to be purchased at the studio. The reason for that is to free each individual to persue his own projects, without any clay usage limitations.
• Once registered for a given month, there will be no refunds for missing classes.
• In case of missing a class, there will be an occasional make-up class as required.
• An advance fee of $27 is required to secure a place in the course. This fee will be used as part of the first month payment.

Projects and Materials

• The focus of this class is on personal projects. Spark your ideas from the many studio books available, or bring your own dream... Everything is possible!
• Techniques will be presented according to your project requirements, and according to your skill level - ranging from general pottery hand-building and sculpture techniques to glazing and decoration techniques.
• Potter's wheel is available to those interested
• All works will be fired in the studio (bisque and glaze firing)
• All studio tools, materials and glazes can be used as needed
• Clay is available for purchase at studio, according to your needs
