7-8 years-old ceramics class

This class is intended for 7-8 year-old kids.
Let your child discover the fun, creativity and magic of the ceramic creation process!

Continuing last year's success, the kids ceramics class will start on September 3rd, 2008.

When

• Wednesdays at 5:50pm - 6:50pm
• Starting at September 3rd, 2008

Price

• The class fee is $19 per meeting, which is usually $76 per month (4 meetings)
• All materials are included - clay, colors and kiln firing
• Payment is in advance per a monthly session, which is 4-5 meetings.
• Once registered for a given month, there will be no refunds for missing classes.
• In case of missing a class, there will be an occasional make-up class as required.
• An advance fee of $25 is required to secure a place in the course. This fee will be used as part of the first month payment.

Highlights

• The class is held at a private ceramic studio in Sunnyvale, in a warm and homey atmosphere
• Small and intimate groups – up to 8 children per group
• Every meeting a new project will be demonstrated, and created by the children with close guidence
• Personal and professional coaching by an experienced ceramic instructor
• Each child will be coached according to his personal progress
• High quality materials and glazes
• The class is instructed in Hebrew, with English if necessary

Techniques and Materials

• Variety of ceramic hand building techniques - slabs, cylinders, sculpting and texturing
• Personal projects according to the child’s choice
• Multiple coloring and decorating techniques with real ceramic glazes
• All works will be professionally fired in the studio
